What is the Exodontia?

This procedure is one of the most common in oral maxillofacial surgery, and basically consists of the extraction of a tooth.

Are dental injuries treated?

Oral maxillofacial surgery is also used in the case of neoplastic lesions, among others. Different neoplastic processes can take place in the mouth, the most common being squamous cell carcinoma, with a predominance of men over 50. However, there are other types such as melanomas, salivary glands or lymphomas.
