Dental implants are one of the best solutions available today to replace the loss of a tooth. It is a small piece of titanium made of biocompatible material that is inserted into the bone through a surgical procedure.
At DentalSPA we use biocompatible titanium dental implants. Afterwards, a prosthesis made of different materials will be placed to replace the lost tooth.

What are the dental implants?
What advantages do they have?
- They maintain the anatomy. If you are missing teeth, the bone begins to contract over time. Unhealthy bone loss can set back your jaw line and change your facial structure.
- They keep their teeth healthy. They are a better long-term alternative to bridges because they eliminate the need to file down healthy teeth when replacing one or more adjacent teeth. Your healthy natural teeth are not compromised.
- Security. Securely attached dental implants do not slide or move. This eliminates some of the major problems with dentures including poor fitting, gum irritation and pain from exposed nerves. The result is excellent comfort, reliability and no embarrassment.

Frequently Asked Questions
In this section we answer some of the most frequent questions that our patients have when it comes to orthodontic treatment.
Is the placement of an implant painful?
The placement of dental implants is not a painful process since it is performed under local anesthesia. However, discomfort may occur after surgery and can be relieved by pain medication, but severe postoperative pain is very rare.
How long do the implants last?
How much do implants cost?
There are several factors that affect the cost of an implant treatment, some of these are the number of pieces, the type of implant, etc. When you come to DentalSPA we will give you a treatment and an estimate according to your needs.
How long does the placement process take?
Once the implant has been placed, it is common to wait two to three months, until it has fully integrated and healed, to be able to place the prosthesis. During this period of time, there is the possibility of installing a temporary tooth for aesthetic reasons.
There are very specific cases, in which the prosthesis can be placed on the same day as the implant. These cases are known as "immediate loading".
